The Melbourne Cup was a highlight of the Annuals Ball held on Saturday night, where patrons were able to get a photo with the unique trophy.
The Cup then travelled to Mareeba Turf Club on Monday for a breakfast function, featuring 2024 Melbourne Cup winning jockey Robbie Dolan.
This Saturday, punters and fashionistas will flock to Morrow Park at Tolga for the running of the Atherton Cup (over 2030m) and Bracelet (over 1000m), worth a total of $37,000 in prizemoney.
The big race meet will feature Fashions on the Field and hobby horse races as well as live entertainment, a licensed bar, onsite bookies and lots of food and drink options.
