Fatal crash

POLICE are asking anyone with video or information to contact them after two people died in a crash near Atherton last Thursday morning.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident which occurred around 11.45am last Thursday at the intersection of the Kennedy Highway and the Malanda Atherton Road.

It is understood that a Toyota Landcruiser collided with a Subaru towing a caravan at the intersection.

Emergency services attended however the occupants of the Landcruiser, a man and woman in their 80s, were declared deceased at the scene.

Anyone with information or relevant vision is urged to contact police.
