First aid training
MAREEBA Shire Council is offering free first aid training.
The nationally-accredited course, delivered by the Australian Red Cross, will give participants the confidence and skills to respond in an emergency.
Training includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation, basic emergency life support and first aid.

Anyone aged between 14-18 must have parental permission.
The training will be held in Irvinebank on 28 July, Julatten on 18 August, and Chillagoe on 25 August. To register go to the Mareeba website. Funding for the program is through the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
