First cattle sales near
DESPITE some anticipated initial transport difficulties incurred on Peninsula roads, the first of the Far North’s regular weekly cattle sales for the year are scheduled to be held at the North Queensland Cattle Saleyards in Mareeba on 9 February featuring a yarding of regular prime and stores.
Intending vendors are asked to contact their preferred agent with bookings.
Meanwhile, Queensland Rural will hosting the first Malanda Store Sale for 2026 on 14 February. Further information about the sale can be obtained by contacting Luke Hickmott 0429 002 759.
