Free composting workshops to be held
THREE free workshops will be held over the next few months to encourage people to turn everyday kitchen and garden waste into nutrient rich compost.
Mareeba Shire is hosting the workshops that will explain simple methods that work for every home, including cold composting and worm farming.
The workshops will be held at the Koah Hall this Sunday from 10am-12pm, at Julatten’s Geraghty Park Hall on 9 May from 2pm-4pm, and at the Mareeba Sports Hall on 20 June from 2pm-4pm.
