Free golf lessons on offer for kids
PARENTS of young golf enthusiasts, or those looking to find something for their kids to do after school, can take them to the Mareeba Golf Club each week for free lessons.
The club recently announced that every Wednesday from 3pm-6pm, local kids can head on over to the course for free lessons with its resident golfing guru, John Evans.
There is no previous golfing experience or clubs required, just an interest to learn. For more information, contact John on 0409 484 255 or phone the club on 4092 1528.
