Free green waste days
MAREEBA Shire residents can take their green waste to transfer stations for free towards the end of this month and in early April.
Residents can take their green waste to transfer stations for free on the following days:
Mutchilba – 30 March and 2 April; Mt Carbine – 31 March and 3 April; Mareeba, Dimbulah, Julatten and Kuranda – 2-3 April; Chillagoe – 2, 4 April; and Almaden, Irvinebank and Mt Molloy – 2, 5 April.
Check the council’s website (www.msc@qld.gov.au) for opening times of transfer stations.
