Free talk on Wet Tropics
A FREE talk by professional photographer Steven Nowakowski will be presented at the Malanda Hotel this Thursday.
Photographer and conservation advocate Steven Nowakowski will give a free talk on the Wet Tropics this Thursday.
Having spent many years as a conservation advocate and undertaken expeditions within the remotest parts of the Wet Tropics, Steve will share some of the most spectacular features and some of their residents.
The talk will also include details about some conservation buyback projects in the wet tropics and other conservation roles for which his photography has been important.
This is a chance to learn a little bit about the less accessible parts of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area and to enjoy some stunning photography.
The talk follows a brief AGM of the Tree Kangaroo and Mammal Group, commencing at 7pm. Members of the public are welcome.
