Gymnasts ready to show their best
DETERMINATION, resilience and focus by six Atherton gymnasts have earned them the opportunity to compete at the Gymnastics Queensland Women’s Artistic Junior State Championships being held in Brisbane.

DETERMINATION, resilience and focus by six Atherton gymnasts have earned them the opportunity to compete at the Gymnastics Queensland Women’s Artistic Junior State Championships being held in Brisbane.
The young athletes were competing over the weekend at the event being held at the Sleeman Sporting complex in Brisbane and were scheduled to finish their performances this Tuesday.
The gymnasts competing are Scarlett Landsberg (Level 4 Under 10 and Level 4 FNQ Regional Team); Lucy Larcombe (Level 4 Under 11); Charlotte Herring (Level 4 Under 12); Alice Poljanec (Level 4 Open); Paulina Rocca (Level 5 Under 12); and Matilda Landsberg (Level 6 Under 12 and Level 6 FNQ Regional Team).
The girls were accompanied by Level 4 coach and club judge Lauren Huth and Levels 5 and 6 coach Cherie Mills.
