Have your say on the future of power
TABLELANDS residents have the opportunity to give their views on energy usage, electric vehicles and emerging technologies following the launch of Australia’s most comprehensive study of household energy use.
The Queensland Household Energy Survey is run annually by Powerlink in conjunction with Energex and Ergon Energy, as part of the Energy Queensland group.
The survey provides valuable insights into current and future energy trends. Minister for Energy Mick de Brenni called on Queenslanders to share their views on items like rooftop solar, household and community batteries and electric vehicles.
“This annual survey helps our network operators in Queensland to deliver a power system that meets the future needs of Queenslanders,” Mr de Brenni said.
Queenslanders keen on having their say on the future of the state’s electricity industry can participate in the survey and have the chance to win one of 10 $100 gift cards by logging onto Powerlink’s website. The survey closes Monday 18 April.
