High Tea to honour new king
THE Soroptimists Tropical Tablelands Chapter will be hosting a high tea in honour of the coronation of King Charles III on 6 May between 2pm and 4pm.

The high tea, which will take place at the Tolga Community Hall, will help raise funds for the local soroptimists.
Representative for the group, Julia Cazita-Mazeaud, welcomes one and all to the event, en-couraging people to dress up for the special occasion.
“We suggest there will be a number of Lords and Ladies supping with gen-tile delight as we raise much needed monies for suffering locals, bent not by the weight of an ex-pensive headpiece, but by crippling bills and energy costs,” she said.
“Please, drag out your finery, don your best and join us to take note of a moment in time.”
Tickets are $25 each and are available at Turner Agencies, Atherton.
