The Rondo, in Greenslopes Street, is presenting Cairns Little Theatre’s production of the hilarious English comedy Holiday Snap by Pertwee and Chapman, as the first play of the season.

Set in Portugal, two flirtatious couples are planning an illicit “naughty” break away from home and have placed their bookings in the hands of a myopic, Colonel Blimp-type character, recently arrived from Old Blighty.

His confusion adds to the comedy, exaggerated by each of the couples mistaking the other for the hired help.

When supposed friends and relatives unexpectedly turn up, all hell breaks loose and mayhem unfolds.

Directed by Frank Joel, the play promises to deliver laughs galore.

Holiday Snap commences at 7.30pm on Friday, 20 February for a season of eight performances to Saturday 28 February, including a 1.30pm matinee on Sunday, 22 February and a 1.30pm matinee on Saturday 28 February.
