Hundreds set to roll in to Drive-In
CAR enthusiasts can enjoy a special event in Mareeba this weekend, with over 350 cars being expected to roll in to the Drive-In.
One of the fastest growing car groups in Far North Queensland, Cairns, Cars and Coffee, is hoping to get over 350 cars ranging from old school to modern (including high-performance makes like Lamborghini’s, Ferrari’s or Porsche’s), and anywhere in between, to their event this Sunday morning.
They will also have 20-30 cars built from 1960-1965 parked around the central building of the Drive-In, so when you order food and drink it will feel like you’re stepping back into time to when the business was established in 1962.
Hundreds of car lovers, cruisers, classics, and enthusiasts are expected to make their way up the range on Sunday and will be mingling at the Drive-In from 8am-10am.
There’ll be freshly brewed coffee on offer from The Coffee Can and bacon and egg rolls, milkshakes and other breakfast items available from the venue.
