Inaugural Millaa Millaa markets

AN inaugural market day will be held in Millaa Millaa this weekend, with plenty of stalls and food and drink on offer.

The event will be held this Saturday from 9am-12 noon. There will be “handmade and grown” stalls at the Millaa Millaa Hotel and a “second-hand trading and other items” section at the CWA Hall.

Market coordinator Pauline Langley said she was very excited for the town’s first market day and that hopefully it would be the first of many to come.

Meanwhile, Mareeba’s markets will also be held this weekend at the Centenary Park.
