Intense wildfires blaze through Tablelands
PROPERTIES have been reduced to ash across the Tablelands after wildfires blazed through Arriga, Silver Valley, Herberton and Watsonville yesterday, forcing people to evacuate.
Sadly, the Rural Fire Services have confirmed several structures were lost in the fires between Herberton, Watsonville and Silver Valley yesterday.
In Arriga, an avocado farm lost approximately 80 trees in a blaze last night.
