The school’s ‘Read to Me’ Day was book-themed and featured different games such as Going on a Croc Hunt, croquet from Alice in Wonderland, digging for treasure in the sandpit and the local fire truck even made an appearance.

Performances from the Prep class and Year 2 students were enjoyed, as well as an AUSLAN performance from the Year 5/6 girls.

“We had an amazing 'Read to Me Day' at Kairi State School, welcoming 70 kindy kids from Great Beginnings and First Steps Atherton,” acting principal Brent May said.
