A man has been killed after rolling his car near Mareeba.

A man has died after rolling his car at Fassio Rd at Paddys Green earlier this morning.

A 21-year-old man has died after rolling his car at Fassio Rd at Paddys Green earlier this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 9am after a passing motorist noticed the crash.

A police spokesman confirmed they were investigating the serious crash and that it appeared that the vehicle had rolled.

It's believed that there was only one person in the car and the driver's name has not been released.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
