It was another horror weekend on Far North roads with several accidents requiring the Cairns rescue helicopter.


Paramedics were called to the Burke Developmental Rd at Chillagoe at about 10.30pm on Friday night after a truck rollover.

A man in his 70s was taken to Chillagoe Hospital in a stable condition with a lower leg injury.


A motorcyclist is in a serious condition after crashing their bike off Greer Rd in Mirriwinni just after 12.00 pm on Saturday.

Paramedics took the rider to Babinda Hospital in a stable condition with a significant lower leg injury.


On Saturday night a man suffered serious injuries after falling off the back of a utility on a rural property near Mount Carbine.


TheĀ 31-year-old man was taken by helicopter to Cairns Hospital in a serious but stable condition with head, chest and leg injuries.


The man is now in a stable condition.


On Sunday morning a motorbike crash was reported at 11.30am at Wooroora Rd in Ravenshoe.

The patient was flown to Cairns Hospital in a serious condition with a head injury and potential spinal damage.
