FASHION, fun and fundraising will combine for one night only on Saturday, October 19 at The Gateway Hotel in Mareeba.

RUNWAY 19, a fundraiser for the Indie Rose Foundation, is a night only fashion show extravaganza showcasing the latest collections from local fashion houses as well an array of local entertainment that is sure to be a sensation with attendees.

After months of planning, organisers are hoping for a sellout crowd and say now is the time to secure your seat before tickets sell out.

“The idea came about earlier this year and we just went for it,” Director of the Indie Rose Foundation Natasha Srhoj said.

“It’s the first time an event like this will be held in Mareeba – an outdoor fashion show showcasing local fashion designers – so we are really excited about the night.

“It’s the ultimate night out.”

Collections featured on the night will be provided by Sonlia Fashion, Sonya Alba-Miller, Milva Carucci Designs, Intimo with Raylene Srhoj, Who’s That Girl Fashion and Accessories and jewellery by A-Nason’s Creations and Parklane with Rayleen Wallace.

“We put the idea to these ladies and they went for it,” she said.

“We also have all local girls modelling on the night and so many other local businesses and professionals have come on board to help make the event a success.

“The support we have received from local businesses has been amazing, everyone is super excited and wanted to be part of this first time ever event.”

Tickets are $59 per person and can be purchased online at www.eventbrite.com.au.

Tickets include a drink on arrival and nibbles as well as live entertainment with Shana Backshall and the Mareeba Academy of Dance, plus a whole lot of fun.

An outdoor cash bar will also be available on the night. In addition, for those wanting to continue long into the night, there will be live music on offer at the Runway 19’s after party courtesy of esteemed local artist Jacynta’Lee, where she will be performing until late.

For more information regarding the event, contact Natasha Srhoj on 0401 344 899 or book online today.
