The Tablelands Folk Festival is returning to the Tablelands October 23 to 25.

Going into their 40th year in 2021 and in honour of the Festival’s amazing heritage as well as due to border closures The Tablelands Folk Festival is presenting a totally Queensland line- up this year.

Festival Program Director Bronwyn Hodgkins said they are proud to be featuring some of the best musicians, singers, songwriters, poets and bands that Queensland has to offer.

“As well as performances there’s a full program of concerts and workshops as well as a poet’s breakfast and a songwriting competition,” she said.

“The committee has ensured that the event will be a COVID safe as we have put social distancing measures in place and will be providing hand sanitiser at every venue, while still ensuring everyone will have a bloody good time.

“We are also still calling for volunteers to help set up, clean up, pack down, MC, door sit and plenty of other roles. It’s a great way to join the festival family and meet new friends whilst enjoying an iconic Queensland event.”

Some of the headline acts include Cachicamo Latin Harp, Gypsy Rumble, Juju Moon, The Hillbilly Goats, The Jazzuleles and Tessa Devine.

The Tablelands Folk Festival is October 23 to 25, tickets are now on sale and numbers are strictly limited.
