National Missing Persons Week is August 2 to 8 and The Australian Federal Police (AFP) is calling on the public to help solve long term missing persons’ investigations.
Each day this week, The Express will be featuring one long term missing person from FNQ.
Fredrick Bamboo, a resident of Mossman, was last seen on Palm Island when he attended a funeral in June 1995.
Since then he has not been in contact with associates or any family members.
He has not been located despite extensive enquiries.
His age now would be 71, height is 165 cm, thin build, black hair, brown eyes and a dark complexion.If you have information that may assist police to locate Frederick please call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
