New Mareeba High captains ready to lead school in 2021

THE 2021 leaders for Mareeba State High School were announced last Thursday along with the senior 10 for 2021.

THE 2021 leaders for Mareeba State High School were announced last Thursday along with the senior 10 for 2021.

They were announced at the schools in-house awards ceremony where the leaders of 2020 passed on the torch and some words of encouragement to their successors.

Nicole Theakston and Dailin Joshua were selected to be School Captains for 2021 supported by Kara Trimble and Liam Goldsworthy as Vice-Captains.

The student council has also come under new leadership in the form of Megan Seddon as President and Daniel Haines as Vice-President, with Ellie Fink as Secretary and Lea Micelli as Treasurer.

Koreen Ketchup and Thomas Grainer have taken over as the Indigenous Leaders for 2021.

All of these positions make up the Senior 10 which will guide the 2021 cohort and their school next year.
