Rain over the past week has resulted in the cancellation of sporting events across the region this weekend.
These include; The Mareeba Turf Club races, FNQ Football games across the far north as well as Cricket semi-finals that were scheduled this weekend. Cairns District Rugby League pre-season 9’s tournament. Cairns and District Junior Soccer at Endeavour Park also cancelled.
