Iconic Australian biscuit maker Arnott’s have teamed up with Dimbulah Mountain Estate Coffee to help produce a new range of Tim Tam biscuits.

The new Dimbulah Mountain Estate Coffee and Chocolate flavour is part of Tim Tams new Crafted Collection which will also include Moreton Bay Raspberry and Dark Chocolate, Kensington Pride Mango and Cream and Murray River Salted Double Choc.

The Dimbulah Mountain Coffee Estate started in 2002 near Paddy’s Green and most of its coffee ends up in self-branded coffee shops in Singapore.

Karen De Leeuw who is the Business Director for Freshfoods Australia said Arnott’s approached them to help with the research and development of the new coffee flavour.

“When Arnott’s wanted to expand their range and include local flavours they approached us (Freshfoods) asking can you help us source something locally,” she said.

“Dimbulah had a bit of spare capacity which allowed them to supply locally.

“Due to COVID, this deal has allowed them to pivot and supply locally to Arnott’s.

Karen said that they acquired the green coffee beans from Dimbulah and that they tried a few different flavour profiles and grind settings until they got the flavour that Arnott’s wanted.

“It’s just great that a company like Arnott’s with their iconic Tim Tams are looking at Australian suppliers, it’s a great partnership.”

Matt Grant, Tim Tam Marketing Manager said, “We know that Tim Tam fans eagerly await the announcement of our new flavours, so we’re thrilled to finally reveal four new decadent flavours as part of the Tim Tam Crafted Collection”

“The Dimbulah Mountain Estate Coffee & Choc is Smooth and dark with sweet chocolate and caramel body, the fine single-origin Arabica coffee grown at Dimbulah Mountain Estate delivers a distinctive, rich taste.

“We’ve baked this delicious coffee into our crunchy biscuits, which sandwich our decadently smooth cream, before covering them in premium Tim Tam milk chocolate.”

The new Dimbulah Mountain Estate Coffee and Chocolate Tim Tam’s are on sale now for a limited time.
