TABLELANDS audiences are in for a treat as the Mangrove Jack Band hits the stage this Friday night.

A long-running FNQ favourite, Mangrove Jack mixes Aussie storytelling, Celtic charm, humour, originals and crowd-pleasing live energy into one unforgettable night.

Featuring Bron and Mick, organisers of the famous Tablelands Folk Festival in Yungaburra, joined by the infamous Paddy McGinty on accordion, and string man extraordinaire Peter Ella, expect some fantastic originals, some Celtic joy and a few covers incorporating vocal harmony, guitars, accordion, mandolin, fiddle, flute, tin whistle and hand and foot percussion.

Come along and catch one of Far North Queensland’s enduring live acts in action on Friday 19 June, at the Grainger Lane Atherton venue at 7.30pm. Tickets for members, $15, and for non-members, $20.
