Man faces DV charges
DETECTIVES from the Tablelands Child Protection and Investigation Unit have charged a 38-year-old Mareeba man with domestic violence related offences.
DETECTIVES from the Tablelands Child Protection and Investigation Unit have charged a 38-year-old Mareeba man with domestic violence related offences.
It will be alleged the man committed several offences against a female known to him between April and August this year.
The man was arrested in Innisfail on 2 September with assistance from Innisfail detectives and specialist police.

He has been charged with four counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count each of coercive control, assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed, common assault, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils.
The man was remanded in custody and is due appear in the Mareeba Magistrate’s Court on 21 September.
