Mareeba cricketers celebrate end of season
THE Mareeba Cricket Club took time to recognise their players on Sunday for their successful efforts during last season, hosting their annual presentation day.
Men’s Champion Player and Gordon Pashen Memorial Trophy recipient, Brendan Falvo, with grandparents Jeff and Gale Rosenblade.
Third Grade had a super successful season this year with the Bandits taking out both the minor and major premierships.
The club took time to celebrate the efforts of their teams and their players during their presentation night.
Third grade opener Brendan Falvo was not only named the winner of the Gordon Pashen Memorial Trophy, he was also named the Men’s Champion Player.
Rising star Ryan Jaszczyszyn was named the Junior Champion Player of the year while Kasey Sheppard was named Ladies Champion Player of the year.
