Maroons visit sparks excitement
RUGBY league fans will be in for a treat when players from the Queensland Maroons make their way to Mareeba next week.
Current NRL superstar Jeremiah Nanai, legend Petero Civoniceva, and Maroons women Makenzie Weale and Romy Teitzel are hitting the road and stopping in at local clubs and schools between Cairns and Charters Towers to meet fans and kickstart another year of footy.
Civoniceva will be heading a junior clinic in Mareeba next Monday afternoon from 3.30pm-5pm at Davies Park. Kids can take part in footy fun and grab a photo with the State of Origin Shield and players.
