Martial arts expert visits
LOCAL martial artists enjoyed a two-day training seminar led by the Head of Shinkendo (Japanese swordsmanship) Australia recently.

Yama No Seirei Budo Martial Arts in Mareeba welcomed Shihan Howard Quick, 8th Dan in Japenese Jujitsu and Head of Shinkendo Australia, along with his son Sam, to their facility for an in-depth training seminar.
“Across two days of focused training, we had the privilege of diving into both traditional Japanese Jujitsu and Shinkendo under the guidance of a true master,” Yama No Seirei Budo sensei David Thomas said.
“Shihan’s knowledge, precision and passion for martial arts continue to inspire and elevate everyone who steps onto the mat.’’
