Maverick musical theatre
THE curtains will rise on a night of laughter and song next month as Mareeba Theatre Group presents its end-of-year production, Harem Scarem, a maverick musical theatre restaurant, at the Mareeba International Club.
Audiences are invited to step into a world of comedy and magic with this original musical, uniquely crafted for a dinner theatre.
Harem Scarem promises an immersive evening where great food from the Mareeba International Club meets dazzling entertainment.
It features a talented local cast and creative team. The show will transport guests to an enchanting setting with toe-tapping songs and laugh-out-loud moments.
“Our end-of-year productions are known for memorable performances and vibrant community spirit,” director Ida Portella said.
“Harem Scarem truly showcases our group’s passion for musical comedy and offers a night of escapism and fun and is for mature audiences only.”
Performances will be held on 14-15 November and 21-22 November.
Doors open at 6.30pm, with guests treated to a full theatre restaurant experience for just $75 per person, including dinner and show. Tickets are available via TryBooking at www.trybooking.com.au/DFDFY.
