Momentum grows for Gillies celebration
PREPARATIONS for the 100th year celebrations of the Gillies Range Road are revving up, with merchandise, vintage car registrations, and even a feature story in RACQ’s magazine, building the momentum.

The celebrations, to be staged between 10-12 July, will feature a vintage car convoy that will make its way along the winding, scenic road that has connected the Tablelands to the coast for a century.
The vehicles will then make their way to Yungaburra, where historic displays, costumed actors, live music, food vendors and kids’ activities will continue over the weekend.
Organisers from the Yungaburra Association have been busy creating a distinctive logo for the event, which is now also featured on T-shirts, stubbie holders and other merchandise.
Registrations are also open to proud vintage car and bike owners to join the convoy, with registration securing a limited edition collectors’ metal car badge.
