Twenty new acts have been added to the festival’s lineup, which will take place from 8-11 October at the Mareeba Rodeo Grounds.

Joining headliners Don McLean, Icehouse and Tyler Braden are Kingswood, Clayton Mullen (USA), Willie J’s 6V6s, Riff Raff AC/DC Show, Lontano, Julian James & The Moonshine State, David Flower & Friends, HER, Whitt’s End, The Stone Kings, Tessa Devine & Tullara, Candice Bliss, Enemy of Anemone, Djawarray, Kyla Belle, Three Fires featuring Jungaji, Radical Son & Candice Lorrae, Tinderbox, Funhouse, Beci Kate, and 3’s A Crowd.

Already featuring country music heavyweights Lee Kernaghan, Troy Cassar-Daley, The Wolfe Brothers and Catherine Britt, the 2026 program also includes Golden Guitar winners, Golden Guitar nominees, Toyota Star Maker winners – Max Jackson and Jarrad Wrigley – and rising stars like Wade Forster.

Festival director James Dein said the latest announcement reinforced Savannah in the Round’s commitment to showcasing both established stars and the future of Australian country music.

“We believe we have assembled the strongest lineup of new and emerging Australian country artists at any festival in Australia,” Mr Dein said.

“These are the artists fighting it out on stages across Australia right now. They are writing great songs, and building their following.

“Savannah has always been about giving people the chance to discover those artists while also seeing some of the biggest names in the business.”

Mr Dein said the festival had built a reputation for delivering on what it promised and even teased a hopeful surprise reveal.

“The program is shaping up as our biggest and most diverse yet, but we are still working behind the scenes and we are hopeful we have got one more surprise to share before October,” he said.

With the full playing schedule now released, single-day tickets are now on sale, giving music fans the flexibility to choose the day that suits them best or make a weekend of it with a multi-day Festival Pass.

Festival organisers have also introduced a limited-time One Day (Any Day) Buddy Pack, giving festivalgoers the opportunity to enjoy a day of live music and stay overnight with a friend.

Festival camping has also received an upgrade, with small campsites increasing from 3.5metres x 3.5m to 4.5m x 4.5m, providing extra room for campers to settle in and enjoy the four-day event.

Savannah in the Round returns to Kerribee Park, Mareeba from 8-11 October, bringing together more than 80 artists across four days of live music and entertainment.
