Motorcross action
THE Mareeba Motorcross Club is hosting its annual JRs TNQ Motorcross series this coming weekend.
With over 200 families and riders from all over north Queensland attending, it is set to be a spectacle with the best riders from the north putting on a show.
Plenty of local businesses have gotten behind the club this year and are all sponsoring different classes. Race classes range from the introductory demo class right through to MX1 and MX2.
There is also a Monster Raffle taking place with prizes that have been donated by local businesses - tickets will be sold over the two days.
The free event will have plenty of entertainment for the kids, with a kid's corner available over both Saturday and Sunday. The canteen will also be cooking up options for breakfast and lunch, with other food vans on site and a local band playing Saturday night.
The Mareeba Motorcycle Club is located at 86 Springs Road.
