Mt Molloy blaze
INVESTIGATIONS are underway into what caused a fire at Mt Molloy on Wednesday afternoon which burned the town’s former butcher shop and adjoining house to the ground.

The fire started just before 5pm, with five crews sent to battle the blaze but the timber structure was unable to be saved.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said the building was well and truly ablaze when they arrived.
No one was in the building at the time.
The spokesperson said all house fires were fully investigated to determine the cause of the blaze.
An investigator was onsite on Thursday.
