A 10-bout card will be sure to deliver plenty of action at SMT’s fight night event, with fighters coming from Townsville, Cairns, Atherton, and Malanda to compete.

“Several of our fighters will be stepping into the ring. It’s a very important moment for our gym because it highlights the growth of our athletes and the strong work ethic we push everyday at SMT,” coach Rosario Signorino said.

“We also have gyms coming from all across FNQ, which makes the event even more exciting and competitive.

“For many of the younger fighters, it’s one of their biggest opportunities to showcase their skills, dedication, and discipline in front of the wider Muay Thai community.

“Events like this help promote the sport in Mareeba and show the positive environment we’ve built at SMT – focused on respect, hard work, and keeping kids on the right path. We’re very proud of the team and we’re excited to represent Mareeba again.”

The event will be held on Saturday 29 November at the SMT gym at the Mareeba International Club. Doors open at 4pm, with the first fight starting at 5pm. There will be food and drink available at the venue.
