Muay Thai gym starts women-only class
MAREEBA’s Spirit Muay Thai gym is continuing to expand its services, with its first women-only class starting this Friday.
SMT owner Rosario Signorino said the class was created to provide a supportive and empowering environment for women of all fitness levels to train, improve their fitness, and learn practical self-defence skills.
“Our goal is to encourage more women in the Mareeba community to feel strong, confident, and capable through Muay Thai training,” he said.
“We’re very excited to share this initiative with the community and we hope to see some good numbers on Friday.”
The class will be held this Friday from 5pm and will continue to run weekly at the same time. The SMT gym is located at the Mareeba International Club. For more information, contact Rosario on 0474 215 467.
