On Friday 21 November, Cairns-based Polymantra will perform their blend of psychedelia, progressive rock, jazz, and electronic sounds at the Grainger Lane venue in Atherton.

Led by Daniel Gileppa (vocals) and Stephen Roberts (guitar/sequencer), their live shows are immersive experiences, often featuring improvisation, visual projections, and innovative formats.

They will share the stage with special guest Tim Wright, also Carns-based, who is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, a veteran of bands like King Pig and The McCormacks, and who’s earned Triple J airplay and toured widely across Far North Queensland.

The cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

The following Saturday, 29 November, AREA 51 and Froggy Le Blanc will be invading the venue, with their double feature of electrifying live music and intergalactic vibes.

AREA 51 is a rock cover band, “blasting classic and modern hits with high energy and an alien edge”.

They say to expect killer tunes, cosmic vibes, and an unforgettable live show that’s anything but earthly.

Froggy Le Blanc will deliver a vibrant mix of modern hits and classic tunes across rock, pop, and doof.

The show begins at 7.30pm at Grainger Lane, with tickets at $10 for members and $15 for non-members.

TML is also reminding punters that its AGM is happening soon, and membership renewal fees are due on 23 November and remain at $25.

Renewal can be made at the venue or online using PayPal at www.tablelandsmusiclovers.org.au/membership
