Open day at chapel
GUILFOYLE’S Mareeba Memorial Chapel will host an open day and information session next month.
The event is aimed at encouraging people to have conversations around end-of-life planning and to inform them about memorial products, financial and practical aspects of funeral planning, and to connect with the caring professionals who guide families with compassion and clarity during some of life’s most challenging moments.
“We’re truly looking forward to welcoming everyone into our space. This event isn’t just about information – it’s about empowerment,” Guilfoyle team member Chelsea Adams said.
“When people leave here, we want them to feel more at ease and confident about the future, knowing their options and feeling supported.”
Guests can ask questions freely, gather valuable resources, and reflect on choices as well as hearing from guest speakers, including Wendy De Bruyn and Daniela Parlapiano from Northpoint Law, who will present essential information on Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPAs), Advance Health Directives (AHD), and key aspects of estate administration.
The open day and information session will be held on Friday, 3 October at 9.30am at Guilfoyle’s Mareeba Memorial Chapel.
