Pecha Kucha brings more tales to enjoy
TALES of train rides and trail rides and their alluring connection will feature in the latest Pecha Kucha “big, little chats” night to be held in Atherton this Friday.

Guest speakers will have just over six minutes to explore their chosen topic with a series of 20 slides.
“Volume Eleven” storytellers include Amrita Bradley, recently rehoming to the region and finding her “seat at the table”; Leesa Hart who shares her world of her Shetland pony Flossy and the elderly; and Tim Trehearn, who returns to take the audience on a ride along a network of scenic Tableland trails.
The evening will also include the youngest presenter yet, at just eleven years of age, Tiama Tiraboschi, who shares her Savannahlander adventures. Tiama has been ‘riding the rail’ between Cairns and Forsayth with her family since she was three. A timely contribution given the threat to the rail lines after flooding.
Pecha Kucha nights are held in the Function Room of the Atherton Hotel, beginning at 7pm sharp this Friday. Ticket confirmation opens at 6pm and the restaurant is open from 5pm for those dining.
Tickets are $10, available from Humanitix, with a very limited number available at the door.
