Petition reaches 2000
A PETITION calling for an administrator to oversee and investigate the operations, management and governance of Tablelands Regional Council has attracted just over 2000 signatures.

The petition, developed by community advocate Matt Lachlan, lists a number of concerns including the disposal of a large number of community assets including public toilets, a significant increase in council meeting agenda items being put into closed sessions, and a lack of transparency around decision-making processes.
