Pool celebrates 60 years

A GRAND community celebration is set for this weekend as the Mareeba Aquatic Centre celebrates its 60th birthday.

The celebration will be a perfect day out for local families, with inflatable obstacles, face painting, fresh food, and live music from Left of Keno sure to provide plenty of entertainment.

Jojo’s Hunger Hub will be catering the event from their food van, with face painting available from 11am-1pm.

The event will be held this Saturday from 9am-3pm, with a gold coin donation required for entry. All proceeds will be donated to the Mareeba Community Centre.
