FOLLOWING their final meeting of the year, the Atherton QCWA Branch placed home-grown flowers at their commemorative plaque in their garden at Jack Street in remembrance and recognition of the two police officers who were tragically killed in service last week.

\“Like all Queenslanders, the North Queensland community is very saddened by this senseless violence,” a branch spokesperson said.
“Thoughts are with the fellow officers who risk their lives on a daily basis in the name of service to and protection of our communities.”
