Raffle to support league dreams
A YOUNG girl has the opportunity of a lifetime after being picked to represent Australia overseas at the end of the month and is holding a raffle to raise funds to attend.
Timmirri Grogan from Mareeba has been selected to represent Wanderers Australia in rugby league later this month. She has put together a raffle with awesome and valuable prizes in the hopes of raising enough money to go.
As part of her representative duties, she will travel to France and England to compete on the international stage.
Timmirri organised a local raffle, with all funds raised going directly towards her travel participation costs.
Prizes include: $100 meat tray, $100 Claude Caters voucher, hand crocheted blanket, $100 photoshoot voucher, Nitro Racing MX170 motorbike helmet (size Youth), one week stay at Palmerville Station campground, $100 JRhair voucher, $140 Bels Boho Collection female wallet, and a North Queensland Cowboys cap.
Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased via Pay ID at Claude Caters Mensland and Western Yalanji Aboriginal Corporation located at 39 Constance Street.
