Road Advisory Group meeting
THE first meeting of the Regional Roads Advisory Group will be held at the Mareeba International Club on 25 February, not 19 February, as reported last week. The error came from information provided.
The meeting, organised by Member for Cook David Kempton, is open to the public and will go from 10 to midday.
The group aims to develop an influential and cohesive committee to advocate for the long-term future of the region’s road network. It would include a broad range of community members who rely on roads for a living, and who have long-term historical knowledge of problem areas.
