School celebrates another great year
MAREEBA State High School held its 66th annual presentation evening recently, showcasing the outstanding achievements of students throughout 2025.

Deputy principal of junior schooling, Peter Thompson, said it was a great night for celebrating academic excellence, personal growth, and community spirit.
“A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the generous sponsors whose support made the evening possible, and to the families who have stood by their students every step of the way,” he said.
“The success of our students is not only a reflection of their hard work and talent, but also of the untiring encouragement they receive at home.
“Congratulations to all award recipients and leaders – your achievements continue to shape the legacy of our school.”
