School showcase spectacular
A SPECTACULAR showcase will be held at Malanda State School this week, featuring an array of stalls, games, and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
The Malanda State School Showcase will have plenty to keep the kids busy, with a sideshow alley, stalls, games, dance and music performances, as well as fresh food and drinks, before culminating in a firework show at the end of the night.
Stalls include laser tag, face painting, chocolate wheel, yucky dip, lucky ducks, toilet toss, balloon pop, lollipop tree, tin can smash, pizza and drinks, Father’s Day stall, as well as a bake stall.
The schools best sports, academic, and creative stars will also be providing plenty of entertainment.
The school’s futsal and netball academies will showcase their skills, with parents able to join in for a fun parent’s match. The futsal will run from 4.30pm-5.10pm, with the netball running from 5.10pm-5.30pm.
Meanwhile, for those who enjoy an intellectual challenge, the STEM academy will be hosting a robotics showcase from 4.30pm-5.30pm with VEX Robotics.
As the evening goes on, families can witness the school band and instrumental music academy performing from 5.45pm-6.05pm. Following this, the MSS Groove Go. will perform from 6.05pm-6.30pm.
