Shire’s seniors spoiled for choice
FROM Mareeba and Kuranda across to Dimbulah and Mount Molloy, celebrations for the shire’s senior citizens will be front and centre this month.

Mareeba Shire Council is taking bookings for the highly anticipated Mareeba Seniors Morning Tea, which will include an information Expo by local organisations and services from 9am to 10am, followed by a delicious high tea provided by the Mareeba International Club and entertainment by local groups and schools until noon.
“Councillors are looking forward to welcoming our senior residents to this much-loved annual event,” a council spokesperson said.
“Bookings are essential, and bookings should be done early to avoid missing out, as this event fills quickly every year.”
