MORROW Park in Atherton was the place to be last Friday as the Bulls Masters and local A-grade cricket players went head-to-head in an exhibition match.

The match was played between local A-graders across the region and the Bulls Masters team comprised of some of Australia’s best players and local up and coming cricketers.

Atherton Cricket Club president Tony Potts said the day was enjoyed by everyone involved from the players right down to the spectators.

“The day was excellent, it was the best day we’ve had,” he said.

"It was a good crowd considering it was Friday, a good crowd and good people.

“Everyone loved it, we had a dinner on Thursday night and we didn’t get one bad comment.”

The Atherton Invitational team won the match much to the delight of local spectators.
