Gladiators still searching for first season win
THE first win of the 2022 season still eludes the Mareeba Gladiators after they travelled down to the tiger’s den on Saturday night, going down against the Tully Tigers in a 31-24 defeat.

After coming off a loss in their first game of the season the Gladiators were looking to secure their first win and hopefully build some momentum during the start of the season.
However, they only managed to cross the line three times compared to the Tigers five during the game.
Ofili Pakalani, Hubert Elu and Robert Pedersen were the try scorers for the Gladiators with Trezman Banjo slotting through three conversions, the last one was made by Elu.
The Gladiators will now take a seat on the sideline for this weekend before facing off against the Kangaroos for their first home game of the season on 24 April.
