Leichhardt belt Stratford in Division 3 Grand Final
The Men’s Division 3 grand final between the Leichhardt Lions and the Stratford Dolphins proved a tight affair with the Lions taking an early lead in the first five minutes of the match.
Tight defending proved the order of the day as the Dolphins found it difficult to break down the Leichhardt defense.
Lacking structure the Leichhardt attack found large holes in the Dolphin back line and capitalized through Jacob Pagano who clinched a hat trick on the night with further goals from Connor Meredith and Gordon Carruthers to give the Lions a 5-1 grand final victory.
A conciliation goal was scored by Kyle Greene.
